Poka Yoke Pick2Light is a simple system that does not need to be integrated with IT systems. This means a lower installation cost and that it is quick and easy to get started.
Pick2light technology facilitates and streamlines manual picking, sorting, and assembly. An LED light points out the shelf with the article to be picked, and a number display indicates the number of copies.
The staff is guided step by step, and each step is clearly marked using a sensor, push button, or scanner. No pick lists are required, and staff have both hands free.
Accuracy increases and costs decrease.
A web application installed on a gateway that provides access to the cloud account where the data is stored makes it easy to register and adjust information about work areas, workstations, shelving systems, items, and users. A clear user manual is also provided.
The picking sequences are called recipes and are created and adjusted via the cloud account. Each step in a recipe can specify that one or more different items should be picked from one or more shelves before the next step. Once a recipe has been started, the staff is automatically guided through all the steps.
